Area Information Other Notes
Class Hours Morning: 9:30 Am to Afternoon 1:30 pm Parents - Please select your Snacks choice (packed snacks or school snacks). Snacks must be paid for in advance.
Physical Education (PE) The children have a PE lesson for 30 minutes twice a week. Please ensure your child has their PE kit in school every day. All PE kit should be clearly named. Ensure your child is wearing the correct school uniform shoes.
Reading Reading days are Monday and Tuesday. Books will be changed on these days. All children should bring their reading book and record into school every day. Please ensure your child reads at home for at least 10 minutes every day and that you sign their book. We change books once โ€˜book finishedโ€™ has been written.
Music The children have a music lesson for 30 minutes twice a week.
Sounds of the week Children will learn new sounds and song actions every week. Learning to Read & Write: Please practice the sound of the week we are learning with your child.
Library Please come in on a Friday and choose a book with your child to read at home. Books to be returned on Thursday.
Workshops We run regular workshops throughout the year. Please read Reception notice board for more details.
Outdoor Learning Once a month field trip is organized so that your child can explore and learn outside.

Spelling All children are given spellings to learn on a Wednesday. These words will be tested on the following Wednesday. Please bring the spelling book on Wednesday. Parents are encouraged to practice the spellings with their child at home. Spellings are tested in a test book. These will be available for you to see at parentsโ€™ open house.
