B ricks and mortar do not make an institution. However, since these house the paraphernalia needed to keep the body and mind in the right frame, constant improvement in infrastructure is a necessary and an ongoing process. With this thought in mind, we are pleased to inform you of our beautiful campus located in a serene, perfectly landscaped environment.

Lawns, landscaped gardens, and extensive playgrounds surround the building, which houses modern classrooms and state-of-the-art laboratories. Colour, space, and light seamlessly combine to enhance the rooms, the corridors, and the labs. From its firm foundation, the school building reaches step by step to a height of four storeys — a reflection of the school's aspiration to provide a sound base from which students will rise to great heights.

The school's laboratories, learning centre, cafeterias, classrooms, and auditorium have been fully air-conditioned; as a policy, the air-conditioning facility will be made use of selectively in various facilities depending on the daily need to ensure optimum student comfort.

Classrooms

Every classroom has a dedicated public address system, digital clocks, display and writing boards, personal lockers for students, and custom-made ergonomic furniture. Furthermore, every room features a provision for a broadband Internet connection and full air conditioning.

The Learning Centre is absolutely central to each student's academic progress. In it, we have expansive shelf space for some 40,000 books, alongside a digital library that already boasts a rich, diverse collection.

In addition, students have direct access to global periodicals and audio-visual resources, the Internet, and in-house photocopying facilities. The Learning Centre also actively supports the archiving of the school's various learning resources and important records.

ICT Labs

New Bishop Cotton School seamlessly integrates information and communication technology (ICT) into the curriculum, and thus provides the very latest resources in this rapidly evolving field.

The school's extensive computer and communication network provides state-of-the-art computing facilities and high-speed broadband Internet connectivity. Apart from our full-fledged Computer Labs, the Learning Centre also features specialized computing facilities to assist students in their complex projects and research assignments.

We realize the profound importance of physical education and sports. We want every child to enjoy getting out of breath playing the game of their choice while building teamwork and resilience.

To deeply facilitate this, the school has meticulously maintained, separate grounds for Cricket, Football, and Volleyball. Furthermore, the campus boasts a pristine outdoor swimming pool, a dedicated squash court, and a professional-grade basketball court.

Medical Care

The school places great importance on the health, safety, and well-being of our students. Suitably qualified nursing staff keep the medical centre open throughout the entire school day, while the designated school doctor is available two days a week and remains on call for any emergency.

In its modern and child-friendly setting, the medical centre maintains exceptionally high standards of hygiene and a well-documented system of students' health records. The medical staff arranges for routine medical treatment as well as vital health promotion activities such as an annual check-up, and specialized dental and ophthalmologic camps.
