What we expect from you as parents?

The school and the home share a joint responsibility for the healthy development of children. This is a function of the quality time children spend at school and at home. While we fulfil our responsibility at school, we request you to consider the following:
  • Take keen interest in every day experiences of your child at school. Interact with him/her about what they do at school.
  • Be a patient listener and express interest in your child’s development.
  • Be encouraging and supportive about every positive initiative your child takes. Know your child’s likes and dislikes.
  • Help your child differentiate between desirable and undesirable behaviour.
  • Patiently carry out a dialogue with your child about his/her mistakes.
  • Try to maintain a continuum between home and school while disciplining your child.
  • Adopt a positive attitude towards every new activity that your child participates at school.
  • Be available for your child when he/she needs your support and guidance.
  • Limit the hours of viewing television and engage them in active outdoor play activities.
  • Trust your child and give him/her unconditional positive regard.
  • Parent / authorized guardians are expected to carry the parent I-Card when they come to collect the child from bus stop or school premises, failing which the child will not be handed over.
  • Both Parents are requested to attend the Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTM) and all events of the school where their presence is expected. Presence is requested by the scheduled time.

Are all the teachers trained, qualified and well experienced?

Yes our school mentors team is well qualified and experienced. The students who were taught by them are in very good positions now. Their teaching methodologies mainly aim at the basic conceptual level that makes the learning effective and long lasting.

What is the minimum possible teacher-student ratio?

The minimum possible teacher-student ratio is 1:30 or 1:40 as per CBSE norms

Are the students well disciplined?

Yes our main focus is on students’ discipline. All the teachers take active participation to make our students well behaved and disciplined.

Do the students proper indoor and outdoor games facilities?

Yes of course, our students get ample facilities in both indoor and outdoor games. Our students have won many prizes in games of different categories.

Do the students speak in English?

Yes our main motto is compulsory English speaking in the school campus. We have spoken English and grammar classes to those who feel difficulty. Our students have bagged many prizes in literary activities of different intramural levels.

When should the students wear regular and house-wise uniforms?

Four days (Monday, Tuesday, Thursdays & Saturdays) they should wear regular uniforms and two days (Wednesday & Friday) the house-wise dress.

How many periodic evaluations will be conducted?

There will be four periodic evaluations like formative assessments.

How many term end examinations and unit tests will be conducted?

There will be two term end examinations followed by regular unit tests immediately after the completion of the lessons.

What kind of remedial measures is taken to improve slow learners?

Different kinds of measures like special classes, revision classes, group discussion, tagging method etc.

What type of literary and extra-curricular activities will be conducted?

Various activities like debate, miming, mono-acting, singing, enacting, speech, quiz etc. that include both verbal and non-verbal activities.

What kind of inter-school and intra-school activities will be conducted?

Many activities that are subject content and applications based like dumb charades, miming, Role-play, seminars, PPT, skit, street play, civic awareness etc.

What is the total pass percentage of previous board exam batches?

We can say very proudly as 100 percent in Board Examination.

What kind of safety measures will be taken during any kind of emergency situations?

A proper first aid is done and hospitalization if needed.

How many parent teacher meetings will be conducted in a year?

Our school conducts nearly six parent teacher meetings in a year. Parents can meet the class teachers on every Second Saturday.

What kind of remedies will be taken during sudden health problems?

The school will provide the basic first-aid. Hospitalized if needed and Parents will be informed.

Tata Building India School English Essay Competition: The Tata Building India School English Essay Competition, one of India’s largest essay competitions is an initiative to motivate the youth of India in nation building. The competition opens with the first step to contribute on a host of subjects related to nation building.
