Welcome to NEW BISHOP COTTON PUBLIC SCHOOL School, Bangalore Rural and thank you for your interest in our school. Admissions have opened for the Academic Year 2018-19 for across all Grades. At NEW BISHOP COTTON PUBLIC SCHOOL School, Bangalore Rural- we are always happy to meet with Parents seeking admission for their child / children and we are committed to ensure a smooth entry. Parents visiting or intending to visit the campus for the first time are requested to fill the Online Enquiry Form / collect the Enquiry Form the Reception and have the same duly filled. Thereafter our Admission Team will organize for an orientation and school tour for you to understand all that you would like to know about the school and the admission procedure.
The classes for every academic year will commence from end of May. The school prospectus together with necessary forms can be obtained by paying amount of Rs. 300 at our school office.
Eligibilty
Montessori
To be eligible for admission, the child must attain 2.6 years (two years and six months ) of age for Montessori 1 and 3.6 years (three years and six months) of age for Montessori 2, at the start of the academic year in June. In some cases, depending on numbers of Admissions, additional places may be offered in January of the following year for those children who have turned three between 1st June and 31st December.

Grade I-VII
All students / NRI Students will have to appear for Entrance Test in English, Hindi, Mathematics, Social and Science to qualify for admission. As a matter of policy we do not admit students in Grade VIII and X. The Entrance Test and Personal Interview with the child and parents will be held in the school on any convenient day being intimated by the school.
Admission will be confirmed only after assessing the performance of the child in the Entrance Test and in a Personal Interview with the respective Panel. On confirmation of admission, parents will be required to submit a Conduct Certificate from the school attended previously.
The question papers will be based on the general syllabi and not on the current textbooks. Note that the child should be at least 6 years old for admission to Grade I.
We do admit students in the second term for Grades I – VII subject to their Entrance Test results and the Personal Interview.
